A performance at CalArts with David Howe and Raphael Arar. We controlled David's light balloons with live audio input from Raphael's modular synthesizer, via my FFT Control software. The frequency content of the sound determined the color of the RGB LEDs inside the balloons, with volume determining brightness (this was achieved by mapping volume in bass, mid, and treble frequency bands to red, green, and blue brightness levels, respectively).
